Training Program for Southern Region Vigilance Officers Organized in Hyderabad
NMDC Limited and the Central Vigilance Commission conducted a training session on the 'Master Circulars and Vigilance Manual 2026' for vigilance officers of organizations in the southern region.

The Vigilance Department of NMDC Limited co-hosted a training program organized by the Central Vigilance Commission (CVC) in Hyderabad on September 17, 2026. The program was centered on the theme of 'Master Circulars and Vigilance Manual 2026' for vigilance officers representing organizations from the southern region.
Addressing the participants virtually, the chief guest and former Special Director of the CBI, Mr. Praveen Kumar Sinha, emphasized the significance of the master circulars issued by the CVC and the necessity of amendments to the vigilance manual. Mr. Sinha highlighted the importance of rotating personnel deployed in sensitive positions, describing it as a critical preventive vigilance measure.
Present at the event were CVC Advisor Mr. Rajiv Verma, Director Mr. Ajay Kumar Verma, and OSD Mr. Arvind Kumar. Also in attendance were Ms. Spurthi Reddy, CVO of Midhani and BDL; Mr. P. Krishna Kumar, CVO of ECIL; and Mr. C. Neelkanth Reddy, CVO of NMDC Limited.
Speakers from the CVC provided detailed information regarding the key changes made to the Vigilance Manual 2026 over time and their importance for vigilance administration. They further discussed the critical provisions and practical relevance of the recently issued master circulars. The sessions were interactive, allowing experts to address the queries and doubts of the participants.
Approximately 75 vigilance officers from the southern region and representatives from various organizations participated in the training program. The CVO of NMDC emphasized the need for a comprehensive understanding and effective implementation of the provisions outlined in these manuals and circulars within vigilance operations.
This program served as a significant platform for capacity building and reinforcing the commitment toward transparency, integrity, and effective vigilance administration within Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs). The event concluded with the national anthem and the national song.
