The Ministry of Steel will host an open house meeting on September 24, 2026, at the 'Steel Room' located on the third floor of GPOA-3, Netaji Nagar, New Delhi. The primary objective of this meeting is to discuss complaints and issues pertaining to steel imports, providing an opportunity for relevant companies and organizations to present their grievances directly to the Ministry.
The open house session will be held from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The Ministry has clarified that entry will not be permitted without prior booking due to administrative arrangements. Additionally, to ensure broad participation, only one representative per organization will be allowed to attend.
Organizations and companies wishing to participate must schedule their time slot by sending an email to tech-steel@nic.in. It is mandatory to include the following details in the email: 1. Name of the company or association. 2. Type of industry and product (e.g., automobile, aerospace, telecommunications, defense, etc.). 3. The specific issue related to SIMS/SARAL SIMS/QCO exemptions. 4. Reference number if any application has already been submitted. 5. A brief description of the problem (maximum 50 words). 6. Name and designation of the participant (representation by a third party will not be accepted). 7. Contact information of the participant (mobile number and email).
Companies or entities facing issues regarding SIMS/SARAL SIMS/QCO exemptions for steel imports can confirm their time slots by sending their requests to the designated email address by 2:00 PM on September 21, 2026. Participants will be notified of their scheduled time via email.
