Central Government Appoints Narayan Dewasi and Swaroop Singh Banjara to DWBDNC Governing Body
The Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment has appointed two new members to the governing body of the Development and Welfare Board for De-notified, Nomadic and Semi-Nomadic Communities (DWBDNC).

The Central Government has appointed Mr. Narayan Dewasi and Mr. Swaroop Singh Banjara as members of the governing body of the Development and Welfare Board for De-notified, Nomadic and Semi-Nomadic Communities (DWBDNC). These appointments were made by the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment under the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment.
Under these appointments, the tenure for the members has been set for three years from the date they assume charge, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
Newly appointed member Mr. Swaroop Singh Banjara has already assumed his charge as a member of the governing body. On this occasion, he expressed his commitment toward the welfare and betterment of the de-notified, nomadic, and semi-nomadic communities. He assured that he would work with full dedication to achieve the objectives of the board and contribute toward fulfilling the needs and aspirations of these communities.
According to a senior official of the board, these appointments will further strengthen the governing body of the DWBDNC. This will assist the institution in achieving its designated goals and launching new initiatives for the socio-economic development, empowerment, and welfare of the de-notified, nomadic, and semi-nomadic communities.
It is noteworthy that the DWBDNC primarily works toward resolving issues related to the development of these specific communities and providing support for various initiatives launched for their empowerment.
